Best unpublished novel by a woman writing in English will receive a $500USD prize annually. Contest begins on January 1 annually and closes on November 30 annually. All entries receive a thoughtful, thorough critique.

There is a great variety among the women who send their work to us: young women writing a first book; experienced non-fiction writers having a go at fiction; women with degrees in Creative Writing or Journalism; older women, in their seventies or eighties, still motivated by artistic creativity. We are overwhelmed by the support our competition receives, the notes of thanks and feeling of trust we get, the sense that we are helping new and practiced writers hone their skills.
