Extreme Habitat Challenge 2019 - Sahara: Design a concept habitat of 1,000 people within area of 0.5mi x 0.5mi, which is able to expand itself to 100,000 (2.5mi x 2.5mi) as needed/desired by the population moving in to the place. The challenge invites ideas that push the boundaries of design using innovative habitat working models, materials, technology, close to zero land costs, a nomadic yet rooted lifestyle.

Archiscola 2019: Archiscola est un concours d’idées imaginé par des chercheurs en Sciences de l’Education pour les architectes, designers et aménageurs de demain. Ouvert aux étudiants et aux jeunes diplômés, ce concours souhaite provoquer une discussion autour des liens entre bien-être et espaces d’apprentissage. L’édition 2019 s’intéresse au contexte des lycées et des internats, dont 50 doivent être construits en France d’ici 2022.

Concours d'écriture - 2e édition -Prix Henry Jacques Le Même: La Société Française des Architectes lance la deuxième édition de son prix d’écriture « l’architecture à la lettre » qui honore la mémoire d’Henry Jacques Le Même (1897-1997), membre et bienfaiteur de la société. Pour cette nouvelle édition nous conservons l’esprit du concours : un lieu dont le choix est libre (bâtiment/paysage naturel ou construit), un texte éventuellement illustré qui propose, une analyse, la compréhension fine ou la mise en valeur du lieu.

Competition: Reconstructing Destroyed Palestinian Villages: Call to Palestinian architecture students (anywhere in the world) in their final year of study. Participation can be on an individual basis or via the current partner institution. This annual competition is for the best design and plans for the future reconstruction of Palestinian villages that were destroyed and depopulated by Israeli ethnic cleansing in 1948. The top 3 designs are awarded monetary prizes, and 1st place winner offered a short training fellowship in Europe.
