2018 Sony World Photography Awards: The Sony World Photography Awards celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017, a decade-long partnership between Sony and the World Photography Organisation, bringing you one of the world’s leading photography competitions. We aim to showcase the best photography in the world from the past year.

ENTERING THE COMPETITION All entries need to be made online as uploads. Entrants must be above 18 years old. There are no print entries. Entries sent through email, prints, or through any other means, will not be considered.

Whether you're firing up the BBQ, embracing those pesky showers or sunning yourself on a fabulous UK beach: we want your best summery shots. The winning summer photo will bag the photographer an autumn getaway at a stunning cottage in Appledore, Devon. The cottage sleeps six and is dog friendly. The public will vote for their favourites, then our judges will select their winner from the top 10.
