INSPIRATION HOSTEL 2017 COMPETITION: OPENGAP organizes the fifth edition of this open ideas competition seeking for innovative, cutting-edge, contemporary, proposals regarding a new concept for artistic inspiration spaces. Participants are invited to design a place focused on the rental of spaces that motivate creativity and concentration, allowing users to focus, inspire and develop their artistic ideas.

2017 Build Abroad Travel Scholarship: Our mission is to build and repair communities across the world through socially responsible construction volunteering. We organize volunteer trips on construction projects such as homes, schools, and disaster relief, while also helping our volunteers experience the unique culture of a different country. Our two founders received their degrees in architecture, and therefore have decided to host one architecture student or recent graduate to travel internationally through one of their programs.

2018 Berkeley Prize – Essay Prize Competition: The Berkeley Undergraduate Prize for Design Excellence endowment was established in the Department of Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley College of Environmental Design to promote the investigation of architecture as a social art. Each year the PRIZE Committee selects a topic important to the understanding of the interaction of people and the built world that becomes the focus of the Essay Competition. This year the topic is: Applying the Social Art of Architecture.

Indigenous Housing Canada Competition 2017: The purpose of Ihis compétition is to raise awareness of Indigenous Housing in Canada and improve opportunités available to design, deliver and maintain housing for remote access Indigenous Canadians.

Barcelona Social Housing: We propose the transformation of an existing office building from the 20th century to social housing. Barcelona is going through a moment of housing emergency where 40% of the purchases of flats are made only to invest and the increase of tourist apartments exponentially increases the price of rents.

7th Advanced Architecture Contest : The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia is pleased to announce the 7th Advanced Architecture Contest, on the theme of RESPONSIVE CITY. The aim of the competition is to promote discussion and research through which to generate insights and visions, ideas and proposals that help us envisage what the city and the habitat of the 21st century will be like.
