International Competition in Architecture 2018: The Fondation Jacques Rougerie - Institut de France prizes are awarded each year to architects, designers, engineers and urban planners from all over the world. These awards offer a unique opportunity to these visionaries to express their vision of a world to come, by proposing innovative, audacious and disruptive habitat or equipment projects, in compliance with the precepts of sustainable development turned towards the Ocean and Space.

International architecture competition 2018: The Chartreuse de Neuville in partnership with the Wilmotte Foundation (FW) is launching an international architecture competition for the extension of the Cultural Meeting Center of the Charterhouse of Neuville. This competition aims to imagine a project of contemporary transplant and arrangement of the outbuildings of the largest French and entirely protected Carthusian monastery.

"l'entracte, temps d'arrêt au cours d'une action": les participants doivent imaginer des mobiliers qui permettent une véritable respiration dans le quotidien. On ouvre une parenthèse au sein de l’habitat ou d’un espace de bureau. Il s’agit d’un aparté que l’on s’alloue avant de (re)commencer sa journée. Ce moment de répit, d’intimité, qui peut intervenir sur tous les espaces de vie chez soi (salon, chambre, salle de bain, entrée, terrasse, jardin, ...) ou au travail.
