With a mirror you can play with the space of a room, highlight something, add an expected reflection or frame your subject. Blur (Bokeh): Bokeh refers to how a lens renders the out of focus highlights which are most commonly recognized as balls of light. To gain this effect you need to have a very shallow depth of field. Looking forward to seeing your photographs. Good luck!

Getting in Costume: Dressing up and pretending to be someone else, even for a short time, can be fun. That's why most cultures have holidays dedicated to it or you can find your favorite movie, comics or game characters come to life and walk by at events like Comicon, Pax or even E3. Playing with Shutter Speed: - Fast Shutter Speed makes your images seem like stop motion. - Slow Shutter Speed makes movement seem like smooth, long lines that show movement. Don't be afraid to try out each of them and see the different results. Good Luck and looking forward to seeing your work!

Overexposed: Overexposed, or High-key images can work out to be extremely striking images. A high-key image consists primarily of light tones, without very dark shadows. These are mostly perceived as "clean". Good Luck and looking forward to seeing your work!

Shooting Clouds: Clouds can have a massive impact on the atmosphere and beauty of a shot. Whether they are wispy and light or thick and smoky, a cloudy day is often the perfect time to pull out the camera. Your photos can be completely covered in clouds or have just a single one. Good Luck!

Cats Being Cats: Cats have many quirks and antics even if it's the little fur ball walking around your house or those walking around in nature or Zoos. This challenge is all about sharing your best shots of Cats Being Cats! All members of the feline family are acceptable (wild or domesticated) Good luck to everyone!

Anything Yellow: Yellow is a nice soft, warm, hopeful color that can give your photos focus and drama. Just look for the color Yellow and the rest will fall into place. The cover photo by Yuval Moranis a great example of using yellow as dominant color to make the subject stand out. Good luck, I'll be looking at your works and voting for you!

Dramatic HDR: Almost every camera nowadays can shoot HDR images and even your mobile phones. Instead of just taking one photo, HDR uses multiple shots at different shutter speeds and exposures. Subtle use can yield photo with much better results which appear more natural . Good Luck!

Urban Photography Photo Challenge: Urban environments, with all their chaos, provide many opportunities to catch something different or interesting. Share your interesting, different or surprising scenes with Urban Photography. Good luck!

Night Shots: - There is no minimum to ISO - try shooting an outdoors scenes of the night sky or indoors where you wanted to create a creepy feeling. Photography is all about light and most of the light we see comes from the sun. But when the sun goes down we view the world in a totally different way. You can really use this to your advantage and show us a new world. Good luck !

Mountains: Mountains are some of my favorite subjects. From the Himalayas to the Rockies and all between find your favorite Mountain for this challenge and share with the world.

An upside down portrait: Welcome to my upside down portrait challenge. Quite simply make a portrait but only from an upside down angle. Your subject can be human or animal. Get creative, use your imagination surprise us!

Minimal Composition: In photography, a Minimal Composition refers to focusing on a single subject which is in contrast to the rest of the frame. Try and go for a clean, simple, fine art style work. Landscapes and Interiors are recommended for these sort of shots.

Gardens & Parks: Welcome to the Gardens & Parks Challenge! For those of us in the northern hemisphere, summer just started showing itself. For this challenge you can share photos from any season, anything from your local park, your backyard or Central Park. You can show them full of people, completely empty or anything in between.

Animal Kingdom: In this challenge you can share your best photo showing off the variety Animal Kingdom. You have your choice from any one of the major groups such as fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals as well as insects or invertebrates. Try and use the rules of composition to get an interesting shots. Good Luck!

Tiny: It's the little things in life that count and Macro mean all the difference. Get up close and personal to the smallest things you can find. Make sure to use a tripod, proper lighting and depth of field for these type of shots. This world of photography opens new and unseen horizons to the viewer, get close, get creative and get inspired! Photo can be either in Color or B&W

Doors, walls and windows: Time to grab your camera and find those many opportunities that you never knew existed before. Doors, walls and windows can be captivating to the eye with a unique symmetry, contrasting or complementing colors to capture the eye.
