A House For Auguste Rodin: This year there will be 100 years since the great French sculptor Auguste Rodin died. On this occasion ICARCH Gallery (www.icarch.us) is please to launch the commemorative international architectural competition "A House for Auguste Rodin." We feel we can pay homage to the great sculptor by trying to express, through a building, the richness, the intensity of his work.

5th Earth Architecture Competition : Nka Foundation announces a call for entries for its 5th Earth Architecture Competition: Designing a Rural Arts Center for Senegal, an international architecture competition open to professionals and students of architecture, design, urban planning and others from around the world. Your challenge is to design a unit of a rural arts school for construction in a village in the Casamance region of Senegal.

The Reconstruction of Commons today - Shelter 2017: In rural regions and fishing villages there still exist “commons” such as mountains, forests and water areas that are jointly managed and utilized by the local community.What do you consider as shared resources in the city? Can we maintain and manage the resources of rural regions and fishing villages as we have done so far? How can we ensure accessibility to resources? How can architecture respond to these issues? I look forward to receiving many dynamic and interesting proposals from students.

2018 Design-Build Challenge in Gambia: Nka Foundation is issuing a challenge to designers, architects and builders to use their creativity to come up with modern mud types for rural Gambia. This is a live project! We will select 10 project teams to realize their projects between January 2018 to December 2019. Nka will partner with each team to organize an international building workshop to, onsite, design and build a unit of a vocational skills center.
