2017 Emerging Designer Competition: Design Exchange, in partnership with RBC Foundation, is accepting applications for the 2017 Emerging Designer Competition. This exciting national competition seeks to provide an unparalleled opportunity for emerging Canadian designers to gain recognition and exposure, while celebrating the immense and diverse design talent in Canada. An overall winner will be selected by an expert jury and receive a cash prize of $10,000.

Museum of the Nile: The objective of this competition for architecture students and young architects, Museum of the Ancient Nile (MoAN) Egypt, consists in conceiving of a museum that will submerge visitors in the ancient Nile and become an essential experience for tourists who wish to comprehend how Egyptian civilization proliferated. The MoAN will provide an exhibition space that is a reference point for the Nile, integrated into the landscape and offering visitors a singular experience.

The 44th Nisshin Kogyo Architectural Design Competition: Bridging means connecting two points that are separated by something between them. The original meaning of bridging is linearly connecting something by crossing over a gap like a bridge. Words such as braces, heat bridges, bridge circuits and guitar bridges are all derived from the original meaning.　We hope to see architecture take a role in connecting space, time, and people while constructing rich environments.
