22nd Japan Media Arts Festival: The Japan Media Arts Festival Executive Committee is now accepting entries for the 21st Japan Media Arts Festival. All artists around the world, without distinction as to professional, amateur, independent, or commercial, are invited to submit their works to the four divisions -- Art, Entertainment, Animation, and Manga.

Smart Illumination Yokohama Award 2017: Smart Illumination Yokohama is an international art event which started following the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. The event is held in an effort to create the nightscape of Yokohama for the new era by integrating energy conservation and art. Based on this objective, Smart Illumination Award aims to discover talented creators who design nightscape of the future. There is no limitation as to the form of works as long as the they involve light.

(Not The) Singapore Venice Pavilion : This is a call for proposal entries of alternative visions for the Singapore Pavilion at the 16th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia 2018. LUMINOTHÉRAPIE 2018-2019 Call for Proposals: The aim of this multidisciplinary competition is to enhance the public space and bring it to life with a participatory work and architectural video projections on the theme of “encounters”. Drawing inspiration from the theme, multidisciplinary teams of up-and-coming or experienced designers should design an auditory, luminous and participatory work for the Place des Festivals that creates a sense of wonder both day and night as well as video projections for the two adjacent building façades.
