6th Annual CTBUH International Student Design Competition: The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) is pleased to announce its 6th International Student Tall Building Design Competition. The goal of the competition is to shed new light on the meaning and value of tall buildings in modern society. The deadline for submission is July 24, 2017. Designers have a responsibility to ensure that these permanent urban structures engender a future-oriented urban response to the greatest challenges of our time.

CTBUH 2017 Student Research Competition: The goal of the 2017 Student Research Competition is to assist talented students, working in groups under the guidance of a professor, to focus on a relevant research question, and create an engaging “output” as a response. Research proposals should directly relate to the 2017 topic of “tall building performance.” It is up to the student group to interpret that theme, and outline how their research will address it, including how the funds will be used to support the intended outcome.
